Parques de Sintra explicitly lists the Fern Valley, Beckford’s Waterfall, Japanese Garden, Romantic Ruins and the palace as part of the visit. So this isn’t me drawing a neon line through random forest — it is a contained place with enough exits, shade and things to photograph.

Call a Bolt from the Monserrate entrance after the walk. It is roughly a 10–15 minute ride into historic Sintra; no trail exit, no downhill rescue mission.
